For those fortunate souls who get the Space Chanel (more commonly known as 'Space') on the telly, know very well just how excellent the program line-up is. Space also happens to be the only conduit for Doctor Who in Canada. There, in fact, appears to be a rather healthy number of Whovians in Canada who, after a long spell in television mediocrity, have flocked to Space to take in Doctor Who Season 5 episodes on Saturday evenings at 2100 Hrs (9:00 pm) with very thoughtful repeats the next day if you so happen to have social engagements that evening.Anywhoos - a brief note about Canadian ratings for Doctor Who from Space - Time Stood Still on June 5 for DOCTOR WHO as it Captured More Viewers in its Timeslot than Any Other Channel.
Doctor Who's Epic Win in Ratings
You were watching Doctor Who last weekend weren’t you? Because this past Saturday, more viewers prescribed to DOCTOR WHO than any other program in its time slot on Canadian television. Nearly 400,000 viewers clocked in at 9 p.m. ET for SPACE’s signature series, beating out competing Canadian conventional and specialty networks. W00t!

Also of note - ensure you mark your calendars if you live near around (or will be visiting Toronto) in late July . . .
There will be a special 'InnerSPACE' program - InnerSPACE is an entertaining 30-minute program which reviews the latest SPACE programs.
InnerSPACE will have a live (one-hour) Doctor Who finale special. Fans can celebrate the season finale of this critical and ratings hit with an INNERSPACE live-to-air special Saturday, July 24 at 10 p.m. ET. From SPACE headquarters at 299 Queen St. W in Toronto, hosts Ajay Fry and Teddy Wilson cap off the season finale in front of a live studio audience. More details about this live-to-air special are to be announced, including guest panelists and live web chats.
